Axes & Aces Privacy Policy

Axes & Aces is a free card adventure game, played at axesandaces.com and in our mobile apps. This policy explains what the game keeps and what it sends to our server.

Stored only on your device

Your saved games (all 3 save slots), hero names, settings, achievements and stats are kept in your browser or app storage on your own device. They are not sent to us unless you use one of the optional features below.

Optional features that send data to our server

• Leaderboards. If you tap Post my score, we receive the name you type (any nickname you like), your score, which leaderboard it's for, the date, and the time it was posted. Names and scores are shown publicly on the in-game leaderboard.
• Cloud save. If you tap Save to cloud, we receive a random save code made by the game and a copy of your game progress (things like your hero name, level, gold, gear and where you are in the story). Anyone with your save code can load that save, so keep the code private.

Both features are optional. The game works fully without them. We don't collect your email, location, contacts or device identifiers, and you don't need an account.

How it's handled

• Data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and stored on our database provider's servers.
• We use it only to run the leaderboards and cloud saves.
• We never sell it, never share it with anyone else, and never use it for ads or tracking. The game has no ads, no analytics and no in-app purchases.

Deleting your data

To remove a leaderboard entry or a cloud save, email support@axesandaces.com with the name and date of the score, or your save code. We'll delete it within 30 days. Anything stored only on your device can be removed by deleting the hero in the game or clearing the site's data or the app's storage.

Children

The game is meant for players 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you think a child has posted a score or cloud save, email us and we'll delete it.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date below.
